About The Lazy Site
The Lazy Site is a publication about AI tools, passive income systems, and side hustles for people who would rather build leverage than worship the grind. Around here, "lazy" means strategic — pick the workflow that actually compounds, ignore the one that just feels productive.
Who runs this
Hi — I'm Josh, founder, the lazy site. I've been building content and affiliate sites since the WordPress era. The Lazy Site started as a lifestyle blog back in 2017 and was rebuilt from scratch in 2026 to focus on what actually works now: AI tools, passive income models, and side hustles that survive a real schedule.
Every tool you see recommended here gets tested with real workflows, real money, and real deadlines. If a tool is overhyped, slow, or impossible to sustain, it gets called out. The honest answer is more useful than the polite one.
How tools and methods get reviewed
- Every AI tool reviewed is used personally for at least a few weeks before publication.
- Passive income models are evaluated by setup cost, time to first dollar, and how brittle the system is six months in.
- Affiliate disclosures appear on every monetized link. Commissions never decide the ranking — utility does.
- Outdated reviews get refreshed. If a tool changes pricing, features, or quality, the article is updated and dated.
How this site makes money
Three ways: affiliate links (clearly disclosed), display ads (Google AdSense), and email recommendations from a newsletter you can opt into. None of these influence which tools are recommended. If something doesn't deserve a spot, it doesn't get one — even if the commission is great.
